Seven Midwest Conference women’s golf programs are  scheduled to begin their 2008 seasons at tournaments on Saturday and Sunday, August 30-31.
Carroll, Ripon and St. Norbert will play in the UW-Eau Claire Invitational in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, while Illinois College will welcome Grinnell, Knox and Monmouth among others when the school hosts the Lady Blue Invite in Jacksonville, Ill.
Illinois College has won five consecutive MWC team titles, while St. Norbert junior Andrea Liebelt (right) is the defending MWC individual medalist after carding a 54-hole total of 241 at the 2007 MWC Championship. Grinnell will host the league’s 2008 conference meet on October 3-5.
