Cappel

scorecard
playoff
for
medalist
honors
at
the
Illinois
C.
Invitational
in
Jacksonville.
She
shot
a
79
and
led
her
team
to
a
second-place
finish
where
49
golfers
participated.

which
was
good
enough
to
edge
Illinois
Wesleyan
by
one
stroke
and
win
the
tournament
championship.

second-place

the
Illinois
Wesleyan
University
Fall
Classic
after
shooting
a
four-over
par

after
firing
two
rounds

74
this
past
weekend.
Her
score
was
good
enough
for
second
place
in
a
field
that
included
24
teams
and
over
130
golfers.
Cappel
helped
the
Lady
Blues
to
an
eighth-place
finish
at
the
tournament.

Monmouth
|
Parge,
a
sophomore
from
Aurora,
Ill.
(West
Aurora),
shot
the
best
round
of
her
collegiate
career
on
the
second
day
of
the
UW-Whitewater
Invitational,
vaulting
her
to
second
place
among
MWC
competitors.
Within
the
six
conference
teams
present,
only
defending
MWC
champion
Carey
Cappel
of
Illinois
College
posted
a
lower
two-day
total
than
Parge’s
91-86—177,
which
was
good
for
25th
place
overall
in
the
field
of
101
golfers.
