Week #10 : Feb. 19

Karin Kedrowski
Ripon

A junior guard from Plover, Wis., (Pacelli HS) Kedrowski led Ripon to a pair of conference wins and a berth in the MWC Championship Tournament. The guard scored a combined 33 points in must-wins over St. Norbert and Lawrence. Kedrowski also pulled down eight rebounds, dished out three assists and had two steals.

Week #9 : Feb. 12

Kandyce Green
Lake Forest

Green, a freshman guard from Chicago Heights, Ill. (Marian Catholic HS), led Lake Forest to a pair of conference wins and a berth in the MWC Championship Tournament last week. In a victory at Illinois C., Green scored a career-high 25 points. She shot 8-of-12 from the floor, 2-of-4 from three-point range, and 7-of-10 from the free throw line in just 19 minutes of play. In Saturday's win at home over Knox, Green scored a game-high 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field, 1-of-2 from the line, and 4-of-5 from the line. She also added 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and a pair of steals. For the week Green averaged 21.0 ppg while shooting 14-of-19 (73.7%) from the field, 3-of-6 from beyond the arc, and 11-of-15 (73.3%) from the line.

Molly Kneip
Ripon

Kneip, a junior from Appleton, Wis., (East HS), had an outstanding two-game stretch as the Red Hawks went 1-1 defeating Beloit and losing a heartbreaker to Carroll. Kneip scored 37 points (avg. 18.5), was 13-27 from the field, 7-13 from the 3-point arc, and had 14 rebounds, 3 steals, 14 assists. Kneip was also 4-5 from the free throw line. In the game versus Carroll, Kneip broke Ripon's record for career three-point goals. For her career she now has 111 treys, breaking the old record of 110.

Week #8 : Feb. 5

Corey Grosskopf
Carroll

A junior forward from Larsen, Wis. (Fox Vally Lutheran HS) Grosskopf led Carroll to a 3-0 week. The junior scored 27, 26, and 19 points respectively to help the Lady Pioneers improve to 12-1 in the Midwest Conference. Grosskopf was 28-of-52 from the field (53.8%), including 7-of-13 from three-point land.

Week #7 : Jan. 29

Krista Kuhlman
Illinois C.

Kuhlman,a 6-0 center from Cissna Park, Ill. (Crescent City High School) led IC to a 1-1 week. Kuhlman hit 8-of-14 shots for 18 points (4 rebounds) in a 68-59 loss to Lawrence. She followed that effort with a 14-of-17 performance for 32 points (5 rebounds, 4 steals) in the win over Carroll. With IC trailing 63-61 in the final seconds of regulation, Kuhlman banked in the game-tying basket at the buzzer to force the extra session. She then scored 8 of her team's 17 points in OT. In two games, Kuhlman was 22-of-31 (70.9%) from the field.

Week #6 : Jan. 22

Felice Porrata
Lawrence

Porrata, a first-year guard from Glenview, Ill., (New Trier HS) led Lawrence University to a 2-1 record this past week, including an upset of previously unbeaten Lake Forest. For the week, Porrata averaged 16.7 points per game while shooting 55.9 percent (19 of 34) from the floor. She also averaged 4 rebounds and 3 steals per contest. She started the by scoring 17 points, grabbing 7 rebounds, and getting 3 steals in a loss to unbeaten Carroll. In a win over Knox, she had 11 points, 4 steals and 2 rebounds. She then finished her week with a game-high 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals in a win over Lake Forest.

Week #5 : Jan. 15

Julie Wilke
Beloit

Wilke, a senior guard from Durand, Ill., netted 67 points (22.3 average) on a 24-of-44 combined shooting effort (55 percent), including a 12-of-17 effort (31 points) against Lake Forest on Friday night. Wilke also canned 6-of-16 three-pointers and was 13-of-14 from the free-throw line. She also grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out 8 assists and had four steals in the three games. She scored 14, 31 and 22 points during the week. Wilke also reached the 1,000-point plateau for her career against Ripon.

Week #4 : Jan. 8

Abbey Johnson
St. Norbert

Johnson a first-year center from Mequon, Wis., (Whitefish Bay Dominican High School) keyed the Green Knights to a 3-1 record over the holiday break. Johnson led St. Norbert with 20 points and 13 rebounds in a 73-65 win at perennial national power UW-Oshkosh. She then added 14 points in a 75-74 win over Otterbein and had six points in just eight minutes of action in a 75-46 win at Beloit.

Week #3 : Dec. 11

Allison Doye
Knox

Senior forward Allison Doye from Hooppole, Ill., (Annawan HS) led the Prairie Fire with 23 points and five rebounds in their victory at Illinois C. Doye also recorded 16 points, nine rebounds and two steals against Monmouth and is currently averaging 16 points and seven rebounds per game.

Week #2 : Dec. 4

Katie McCants
Lake Forest

McCants, a junior forward from Menasha, Wis., (Menasha HS) led the Foresters in points and rebounds with 14 and 5 respectively, in the victory over Illinois C. McMcants shot 5-of-9 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line.

Michelle Fink
Carroll

A senior forward from Menasha, Wis. (St. Mary's Central HS) Fink led the Pioneers to a victory over Ripon with 15 points and nine rebounds. Fink was 4-of-6 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line

Week #1 : Nov. 26

Sarah Leatourneaux
Carroll

Letourneaux, a senior guard from Neenah, Wis., (St. Mary's Central) led the Pioneers to a 2-1 start on the year. In three games she is averaging 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, three steals and .3 blocks per game. Letourneaux was named to the all-tournament team at the Jean Kilgour Tournament following a 63-53 win over UW-Platteville.
