Week #1: September 10

Katie Carrier
St. Norbert

Carrier, a senior outside hitter from West. Bend, Wis., is hitting .338 on the strength of 146 kills and just 36 errors in 325 total attempts.

Carrier racked up a season-best 32 kills in a match against Dominican (Ill.). The senior captured MVP honors at the Concordia Tournament and earned a spot on the all-tourney teams at the UW-Superior and Concordia tournaments.

Jaime Jones
Monmouth

Jones, a senior from La Harpe, Ill., let the Fighting Scots to a 4-1 record. The middle hitter has thrown down 84 kills in Monmouth'sfirst five matches, an average of 5.6 per game. Her hitting percentage checks in at a very solid .388.

Week #2: September 24

Liz Pollock
Lawrence

Pollock, a junior middle hitter from Urbana, Ill., put up big numbers in the Carleton Classic and the Lawrence Triangular over the past two weeks.

At Carleton, Pollock hit .420 with 78 kills, 25 digs, nine blocks and four aces. Pollock followed that performance by hitting .367 with 38 kills and 23 digs in the Lawrence Triangular.

Leslie Boyle
Lake Forest

Boyle, a senior from Chicago Heights, Ill., (Marian Catholic HS) moved from defensive specialist to setter during the past few weeks and made a quick impact.

At the Illinois Wesleyan Tournament Boyle logged 149 assists, five service aces and 40 digs in three wins, including a 3-1 decision over the host.

Boyle added 38 assists and a team-high 12 digs at Judson College and 93 assists and 21 digs at the Larwence Triangular.

Week #3: October 1


Katie Carrier
St. Norbert

Carrier, a senior outside hitter from West Bend, Wis., led the Green Knights to a first-place 5-0 finish at the MWC Crossover Tournament.

For the tournament, Carrier hit a stellar .399 and finished with 102 kills, 85 digs, 10 blocks and six service aces.

Amy Heberlein
Illinois C.

Heberlein, a senior outside hitter from Liberty, Ill., helped the Lady Blues to a 4-1 finish in the MWC Crossover Tournament.

Heberlein recorded 79 kills (4.6 kpg), a .350 hitting percentage, and 69 digs (4 dpg).

Week #4: October 8

Katie Carrier
St. Norbert

Carrier, a senior outside hitter from West Bend, Wis., became only the 14th player in NCAA Division III history to record 2000 career kills. The senior reached the milestone in the Green Knights' win over Rockford.

In eight games this past week, Carrier hit .343 with 50 kills, 32 digs and four blocks.

Angela Lagerman
Lake Forest

Lagerman, a senior middle blocker from Menomonee Falls, Wis., finished the week with 51 kills and seven errors in 81 attempts.

In the Forester Invitational the senior connected for a team-high 37 kills and was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Week #5: October 15


Bridget Griesbach
Lawrence

A sophomore setter from Hortonville, Wis. (Hortonville HS), Griesbach logged 63 assists and two aces in a five-game win over Concordia. At the Lawrence Invitational where the Vikings went 4-0, Griesbach posted 135 assists, four aces and nine kills. Griesbach leads the MWC in assists with 1,078 and became just the second setter in school history to record over 1,000 in a season.

Jenny Anderson
Lake Forest

Anderson, a sophomore from Sebastopol, CA (El Molino HS), led Lake Forest to a four-game victory over Monmouth and was productive in a loss to Augustana. Anderson recorded 14 kills with just two errors in 34 attempts (.353) versus Monmouth and tallied another 11 kills and four errors in 27 attempts on Thursday. For the two matches combined, Anderson hit .311 and added 20 digs a pair of blocks.

Abby Sutherland
St. Norbert

A sophomore setter from West Bend, Wis. (West Bend HS), Sutherland paced the Green Knights to a 5-0 week. Sutherland totaled 202 assists, 11.9 per game, and added 57 digs, 20 kills and six aces in the effort.

   
Week #6: October 22

Kayte Hansen
Lawrence

Hansen, a middle hitter from Ripon, Wis., played a major role in a sweep of Carroll. The senior pounded out 19 kills, hit .429, and recorded five blocks and eight digs.

Hansen already owns the Vikings' career marks for kills and blocks.

Stephanie Reinboldt
Lake Forest

Reinboldt, a senior from McHenry, Ill., led Lake Forest to three victories in as many matches last week. Reinboldt led the team in kills in all three matches with 15, 19, and 13 respectively. Her totals for the week were 47 kills and 15 errors in 86 attempts for a .372 hitting percentage. She also added 14 blocks (4 solo), 27 digs and a trio of aces.

Week #7: October 29

Katie Carrier
St. Norbert

Carrier, a senior outside hitter from West Bend, Wis., was named to the all-tournament team at North Central's Pumkinball Tournament. For the week, Carrier hit .322 with a combined line of 102 kills and 32 errors in 245 attempts.

Jamie Jones
Monmouth

Jones, a senior middle hitter from La Harpe, Ill., recorded 70 kills, 54 digs and 12 blocks in four matches. The senior's hitting percentage for the week was .394.
