Murray paced the Monmouth offense
last week, as the team got off to a 4-0
start and won the Monmouth Invitational. Murray led the Fighting Scots in kills (52), kills per game (3.47) and recorded a .257 attack percentage. The 5’8” senior had a high-mark of 13 kills against Coe and also closed the weekend with 27 digs.

Kris McDonald - Outside Hitter - Illinois College -
Senior - Illiopolis, Ill./Illiopolis
McDonald led the Lady Blues to four victories over
the weekend en route to winning the Rose-Hulman
Tournament. McDonald was selected to the All-
Tournament Team after registering a .360 hitting
percentage and averaging 3.12 kills per game. Her
totals included a career-high 17 kills in a win over
Manchester. She also added 21 digs, five aces and three blocks to round out the weekend.

Katie McCool - Middle Hitter - Beloit College -
Sophomore - Warren, Ill./Warren
McCool had a solid weekend offensively and
defensively, as the Buccaneers came away from the
Wheaton College Thunder Invitational with a 2-1
record. In three matches, McCool recorded 31 kills
and compiled a .352 hitting percentage, while also
tallying 19 blocks, including six solo. She also
registered a team-high 14 kills (.462 hitting percentage) in a 3-0 win over Concordia. In a 3-0 loss to North Central, she had eight blocks, including four solo.

Katie Algrem - Setter Hitter - Beloit College -
Junior - Wautoma, Wis./Wautoma
Algrem contributed in every facet of the game last
week, leading the Bucs to a 3-1 record, including a
2-1 mark at the MWC Playdate. A junior setter, Algrem averaged 52 assists per match, compiling 207 assists during four matches last week. In the three MWC Playdate matches, she had 157 assists, including 62 against Monmouth, the fourth-highest single-match total in Beloit history. Algrem did more than set the table for the Bucs, as she also tallied 20 kills, six service aces, seven blocks and 39 digs.

Kelly Mulcahy - Outside Hitter - Lawrence University - Sophomore - Glendale, Wis./Nicolet
Mulcahy led the Vikings to a 2-1 record this past week as she piled up 52 kills, 35 digs, eight aces and a .342 hitting percentage. In 5-game win
Wisconsin Lutheran, Mulcahy led the way with 19 kills, 17 digs, and four aces. She followed that performance with 19 kills, seven digs and three
aces in a loss to St. Norbert. The sophomore outside hitter finished the week with 14 kills, 11 digs and an ace in a win over Rockford.

Dani Schmidley - Middle Hitter - St. Norbert College -
Senior - Green Bay, Wis./Notre Dame
Schmidley led the Green Knights to 3-0 week, with all three victories coming against Midwest Conference foes. St. Norbert downed Lawrence on Tuesday, before knocking off Grinnell and Illinois College at the second MWC Playdate. Playing in nine of the 10 games, Schmidley hit a robust .442
with 28 kills. The 6-2 senior also tallied 11 blocks and seven digs.

Nicole Baich - Middle Blocker - Lake Forest College - Sophomore - Westchester, Ill./Nazareth
Baich led Lake Forest to a 1-1 record last week, including a 3-0 win Knox to remain on top of the MWC North Division standings. Baich led the Foresters with 20 kills and tied a season-high with nine blocks in Lake Forest’s five-game loss to the University of Chicago on Tuesday. The sophomore middle blocker also tallied nine kills, an ace and a block in a three-game sweep over Knox on Friday. Baich posted a .400 hitting percentage for the week and added nine total digs.

Joanna Mamayek - Middle Hitter - St. Norbert College - Freshman - Colgate, Wis./Milwaukee Divine Savior
Mamayek led St. Norbert to a 5-0 week that included an MWC win over Ripon and a 4-0 showing at the North Central Conference Tournament. In 15
games, Mamayek hit a solid .358 with 42 kills, 17 blocks, 13 digs and 12 service aces. Against the University of Chicago on Friday, Mamayek had 11
service aces, breaking a school record for aces in a four-game match that dates back to 1992.

Megan Trimpe - Setter - Illinois College -
Junior - Bloomington, Ill./Normal
Trimpe helped the Lady Blues to a 3-2 record last week and moved to within 57 assists of becoming Illinois College’s all-time assist leader. The junior
setter has 3,531 career assists after a week that saw her record 154 helpers, 17 kills, 5 aces, 41 digs, and 7 blocks. Trimpe was named to the Illinois Wesleyan All-Tournament Team, a tourney that included the nation’s #1 team, after a 3-game, 38-assist performance in a win over North Central and a 4-game, 48-assist effort in a victory against Maranatha.
