Week #1: September 8

Emily Beckwith
Illinois C.
|
Beckwith, a senior outside hitter from Jacksonville, Ill., (Jacksonville HS) hit .426 at the Defiance College Invitational September 5-6. Her totals included 18 kills against Defiance, 14 against Sienna Heights, 17 against Shawnee State and 15 against Goshen. Beckwith also registered seven solo blocks and 19 block assists. On September 2, Beckwith had 10 kills against the University of Chicago and 15 against Millikin. Illinois College won both matches. And on August 29-30, Beckwith totaled 16 kills in four matches at the Illinois College Tournament. Through the team's first 10 matches, Beckwith is hitting .372 with 126 kills, 12 solo blocks and 30 block assists. |

Week #2: September 15

Janae Jensen
St. Norbert
|
Jensen, a junior middle hitter from (Madison, Wis., (Abundant Life Christian) hit a blistering .451 as the Green Knights went 4-0 last week. Jensen’s attack totals were 40 kills with only 8 errors and 71attempts and she also added 25 blocks in the four matches with four digs and two service aces. |

Janine Emmer
Ripon
|
Emmer, a junior from Slinger, Wis. (Slinger HS), led Ripon to a 4-0 record during the Ripon Invitational as the Red Hawks’ star was also named to the All-Tournament team. She recorded 69 kills, six service aces, 59 digs and 21 blocks during the weekend tournament. |

Week #4: September 29

Abbey Sutherland
St. Norbert
|
Sutherland, a senior setter from West Bend, Wis. (West HS) led St. Norbert to a 6-0 week in the conference, including a 5-0 mark at the Crossover. Sutherland finished the week hitting .433 (60-28-2) and averaged 13 assists per game (247/19), with 13.8 assists per game (220/16) at the crossover. On the week, she also had 63 digs and two service aces. |

Week #5: October 6

Emily Beckwith
Illinois C.
|
Beckwith, a senior hitter from Jacksonville, Ill.(Jacksonville HS), earned all-tournament team honors at the Wisconsin-LaCrosse Tournament October 4 after helping the Lady Blues go 2-2. Over the span of four matches (15 games), Beckwith hit .336. She finished with 51 kills and 12 total blocks. Her best effort came against Luther when she had 18 kills and hit .424. |

Week #6: October 13

Andrea Krueger
Lake Forest
|
Krueger, a junior setter from Tinley Park, Ill. (Andrew HS) led Lake Forest to a 5-0 record last week. Krueger started the week with 56 assists and two aces in the Foresters’ victory over Carthage College on Tuesday. In another win over Illinois College on Thursday, she tied career highs with 58 assists and 15 digs while chipping in two more aces and a block. She was named to the Forester Invitational All-Tournament Team on Saturday after tallying 111 assists, 30 digs, six aces and a block in three matches. For the week she recorded 225 assists, 47 digs, ten aces, and a pair of blocks in five matches (18 games). |

Week #7: October 20

Jenny Anderson
Lake Forest |
Anderson, a senior from Sebastopol, Ca. (El Molino HS), helped Lake Forest win a pair of MWC road matches over the weekend. The Foresters defeated Knox in five games on Friday and Anderson tallied a school-record 30 digs in the match. She also added 13 kills, two aces, and a block. In Saturday’s three-game triumph at Grinnell , Anderson pounded out a match-high 13 kills and added a dozen digs, an ace, and a block. Her hitting percentage for the weekend was .303. |

Week #8 October 27

Stephanie Metzger
Lake Forest
|
Metzger, a senior from Chicago, Ill. (Lane Tech), helped Lake Forest to three wins at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational on Friday and Saturday and was named to the all-tournament team. Metzger led the Foresters with 15 kills in each of their wins on Friday over Marian College (four games) and Hamline University (three games). She also had 31 digs on the evening. On Saturday, Metzger had 13 kills and as many digs in a three-game win over Concordia University that extended the team’s school record winning streak to 14 matches. She also had a dozen digs and two more kills in a three-game loss to UW-Oshkosh, the #17 team in the nation. Her totals for the weekend were 45 kills, 57 digs, six aces, and seven blocks. |

Week #9 November 3

Emily Beckwith

Beckwith, a senior from Jacksonville, Ill. (HS), posted a .490 hitting percentage with 86 kills and 10 errors in 155 total attempts for the week. Beckwith also recorded four solo blocks and 20 block assists. Beckwith’s performance helped the Lady Blues to a 3-2 record on the week and a second place finish at the Washington University Classic (2-1) where she was named to the all-tourney team. |
