A sophomore from Colorado Springs, Col., Tiggeman won the 100 and 200
freestyle in Knox's three meets against Principia, Lindenwood, and Augustana
this season. Tiggeman broke the school record in the 100 with a time
of 49.66 seconds. |
A junior from Gurnee, Ill., Li put on a dominant performance at the Washington University Invitational. She surpassed the NCAA "A" qualifying standard in one event and made the "B" qualifying standard in another event on her way to winning four events. She passed the "A" standard in the 100 backstroke with a time of 58.64 seconds and passed the "B" standard with a time of 2:09.00 in the 200 backstroke. Li also set school and pool records in the 100 and 200 backstroke. She also won the 200 IM in 2:19.13 and the 100 butterfly in 1:01.37. |

Week #2: December 4

A junior from Paradise, Newfoundland, Hurley won three events at the Gene Davis Invitational at Lawrence. Hurley won the 200 butterly in 2:03.38, the 400 individual medley in 4:26.70, and the 500 freestyle in 4:59.78. Hurley's efforts helped the Vikings take second place behind Luther College. |
A first-year student from Lawrence, Ks., (Lawrence Free State High School) Sellon broke two school records and passed the NCAA "B" qualifying standard in one event at the Truman State Invitational this past weekend. She passed the B qualifying standard for the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:44.03, good for third place. Sellon took third place and broke the school record with a time of 2:15.32 in the 200 IM. |

Week #3: December 11

A sophomore from Wichita, Kan, Laurino won three events at the Lake Forest-Carroll-IIT triangular. Laurino won the 400 freestyle by more than 14 seconds with a time of 4:34.35. Laurino also captured the 800 free by just under four seconds with a time of 10:29.75. Laurino also swam the first leg of Lake Forest's winning 200 free relay team. Laurino's efforts helped the Foresters win the triangular. |
A first-year student from Green Bay, Wis., (Green Bay East/Preble High School) Mogan won three events at the Beloit/Ripon Triangular at Ripon College. Mogan took the 1000 freestyle with a time of 12:09.01. She won the 400 individual medley in 5:21.18 and the 500 freestyle in 5:51.93. Mogan broke the school record in each event and currently holds six school records in SNC's first year of its women's swimming program. Mogan's efforts helped the Green Knights beat Ripon and Beloit. |

Week #4: January 8

Zunker a senior from Oshkosh, Wis. (North High School) had a pair of outstanding meets, winning two events at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational and capturing another first at the Lake Forest Triangular. At Oshkosh, Zunker won the 50 freestyle in 23.3 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 58.5 seconds. In the meet at Lake Forest, Zunker won the 100 freestyle in 58.4 seconds and was part of the winning 200 medley relay team. |
Miller a sophomore from Miami, Fla., continued her dominance in diving this season. She won both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions at the dual meet with Coe College this past weekend. |

Week #5: January 15

Tiggemann, a sophomore from Colorado Springs, Colo., helped Knox to a second-place finish at the seven-team Knox Invitational last Saturday. Tiggemann won the 100 freestyle in 50.71 and the 200 freestyle in 1:54.87. He also was part of the 200 freestyle relay team that swam to victory in 1:39.90. |
Holm, a first-year swimmer from Omaha, Neb. (Burke High School), won two events and broke the school record in both in Grinnell's dual meet with the University of the South. Holm won the 200 freestyle and set the record with a time of 2:01.51. She also set the record in the 500 freestyle by winning in a time of 5:22.09. |

A sophomore from Napoleon, Ohio, Saul won three events; the 100 breaststroke, the 200 breaststroke, and the 200 IM, at the Grinnell Invitational last weekend. He also helped the the 400 medley relay team place second and was on both the 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay teams that placed third. |
A first-year swimmer from Lawrence, Kan., Sellon won four events; the 200 IM, 400 IM, 200 butterfly, and 200 backstroke, at the 10-team Grinnell Invitational last weekend. She set the pool record in the 400 IM (4:45.12). She also set a school record and passed the NCAA B qualifying standard in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:12.56. Her efforts helped the Pioneers win the meet. |

Hurley a junior from Paradise, Newfoundland, won three events at the Wisconsin Private College Championships this past Saturday at Lawrence. Hurley won the 200 individual medley in 2:04.48, the 200 butterfly in 2:03.00, and the 400 IM in 4:28.39. Hurleyıs efforts helped the Vikings to a second-place finish in the team standings with 194 points. Carthage took the title with 208 points. |
Krueger a senior from Sussex, Wis., (Hartland Arrowhead HS) swam to victories in the 200 individual medley (2:19.40), the 100 breaststroke (1:11.78), and the 200 breaststroke (2:33.52) at the Wisconsin Private College Championships last Saturday at Lawrence University. |
