Adam Kolb - Lawrence University - Senior - St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park
Kolb won four individual events and swam on two winning relays in the Vikings first two meets of the season. At the St. Norbert College Sprint Meet, Kolb won the 50-yard freestyle (22.84), before touching the wall first in the 100 freestyle (49.75). He also swam on the 500 freestyle relay (4:28.83) and 200 medley relay (1:42.72), which both came away victorious. Kolb notched two more wins (200 free, 500 free) to help Lawrence defeat UW-River Falls 144-63 in a dual meet.

Mia Hable - Lake Forest College - Sophomore -
Hudson, Ohio/Huddson
Hable helped lead Lake Forest to victories over Knox, Webster and Monmouth on Saturday. The sophomore placed first in each of her three individual events, the 1000-yard freestyle (11:28.38), 100 freestyle (59.32), and 500 freestyle (5:38.01). Hable also swam a leg on the winning 200 freestyle relay team. Her victories in the 1000 and 500 were by 50 and 23 seconds, respectively. Hable currently holds the top times in the MWC in the 500- and 1000-yard freestyles.

Patrick McCrory - Lawrence University - Freshman - Racine, Wis./Park
McCrory won three events to pace the Vikings men’s swim team in a 179-91 dual meet victory over MWC foe Monmouth. McCrory touched the wall first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 56.35 seconds, before going on to win the 50-yard freestyle (22.89) and the 100 butterfly (55.64). The freshman also swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay team, which finished with a time of 1:43.16. McCrory’s time in the 50 freestyle was the top mark in the MWC this season.

Heather Prochnow - Lawrence University - Senior Warrenville, Ill./West Chicago
Prochnow won three events and swam on a winning relay team to guide Lawrence women’s swim team to a 172.5-113.5 dual meet victory over Monmouth. Prochnow was victorious in the 50-yard freestyle (26.34), the 100 freestyle (57.42) and the 100 butterfly (1:05.42). The senior also swam on the winning 200 freestyle relay team, which had a time of 1:49.35. Prochnow’s time in the 50 freestyle is tops in the Midwest Conference this season.

Daniel Shryock - Grinnell College - Senior -
Gainesville, Fla./Buckholtz
Shryock finished in first place in all four 1- and 3-meter diving events in Grinnell’s two competitions last week, as the Pioneer men’s team defeated Loras before falling to Chicago. The senior diver set a new pool record in the 3-meter diving event against Loras with a score of 284.55. The mark was also an NCAA provisional standard qualifier. Shryock currently holds the top scores in the MWC in 1- and 3-meter (6 dives) diving this season.

Kendal Swett - Lake Forest College - Sophomore -
Akron, Ohio/Hawken
Swett posted NCAA Division III National Meet qualifying marks in both diving competitions over the weekend at the six-team Washington (Mo.) Thanksgiving Invitational. Swett placed second in the meet in both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards with scores of 371.10 and 425.95, respectively. Swett currently holds the top marks in the conference in 1- and 3-meter (6 dives) diving, as well as the 3-meter 11 dives event.

Andrew Wilson - Monmouth College - Freshman -
Galesburg, Ill./Galesburg Wilson starred for the Fighting Scots at their second-biggest meet of the year, the DePauw Invitational, putting his name in the record book in six events. At the 11-team meet, he won the 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.51) and was third in the 100-yard breaststroke, setting school records in both and moving to the top of the MWC rankings. He also came within 16 hundredths of a second of breaking Monmouth’s 37-year-old record
in the 50-yard freestyle. The freshman also played a part in four relay records, including the 200- and 400-yard medleys and the 200- and 400-yard freestyles.

Jenny Lewis - Monmouth College - Freshman -
Rensselaer, Ind./Central
Lewis was a part of five school records at last Saturday’s 10-team DePauw Invitational. She set a new mark in the 100-yard backstroke prelims (1:03.01) on her way to a third-place finish, and finished fourth in the 200-yard backstroke in a record time of 2:17.16. Lewis also set a school-record in the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.98) and now ranks first in the MWC in both backstroke events. In relays, the freshman was part of a fourth- and fifth-place efforts in the 200-yard medley and 200-yard freestyle, with the 200-yard medley taking fourth in a record 1:58.33. Her 400-yard freestyle relay team also set a new school mark.

Taylor Pechauer - Carroll College - Sophomore -
Antioch, Ill./Antioch
Pechauer picked up two individual wins to pace the Carroll men’s squad in a dual meet against UW-Whitewater. Pechauer won the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.54, before touching the wall first in won the 100 breaststroke (1:03.02). He also led the 400 freestyle relay team to a victory with a time of 3:59.19.

Emily Estad - Carroll College - Sophomore -
Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc
Estad finished first in two individual events to lead the Lady Pioneers in a dual meet versus UW-Whitewater. Elstad won the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.45, falling just short of her MWC-best mark of 26.02. She also took first-place honors in the 100 backstroke, clocking in at 1:04.94. The sophomore also helped the 400 freestyle relay team finish with a time of 4:05.52.

Christy Dechaine - Knox College - Sophomore -
Crystal, Minn./Robbinsdale Cooper
Dechaine had a remarkable weekend at the Knox Invitational, helping Knox to a third-place team finish. Dechaine captured first place in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 6:04.71, 16 seconds better than her next closest competitor. The sophomore also placed second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:18.19) and was a member of the mixed 200-yard medley relay team that finished third (2:17.21).

McCrory won one event and placed third in another to lead Lawrence to a pair of victories at the Carthage Triple Dual on Saturday. McCrory won
the 50-yard freestyle in 22.37 seconds and placed third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 50.77 seconds. The Vikings defeated UW-Oshkosh and North Central at the meet, but fell short against Carthage.

Amanda Keledjian - Grinnell College - Sophomore -
Van Nuys, Calif./Highland Hall
Keledjian won three events at the 10-team Grinnell Invitational over the weekend, helping the Pioneers women’s team to a second-place finish. Keledjian touched the wall first in the 100 butterfly (1:01.38), 200 IM (2:17.68) and 200 butterfly (2:16.65) at the event. She also finished third in the 400 IM (4:54.01) and swam on the Pioneers 400 freestyle relay team that finished third. |

Rob Sjoberg - Beloit College - Senior -
Seattle, Wash.
Sjoberg posted a pair of individual victories and also notched a second-place finish on Saturday as he led the Bucs to a first-place finish at the Carroll Quadrangular. The senior won the 500 and 1,000 freestyles with times of 5:14.65 and 10:40.0, respectively. He also finished second after clocking in at 2:10.60 in the 200 butterfly. His time in the 1,000 free was the best in the conference so far this winter while his other two times rank in the top five.

Chelsea Bueter - Lake Forest College - Junior -
Swisher, Iowa/Prairie
Bueter came away victorious in both of her individual events at the six-team Lawrence Invitational on Saturday, helping the Forester women to a second-place finish. The junior touched the wall first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:16.60, before winning the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:01.47. She also swam a leg on the winning 400 medley relay team and her 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams placed second and fourth, respectively.

Jonny Gausewitz - Ripon College - Senior -
Monona, Wis./Monona Grove
Gausewitz led the Red Hawks men’s team to a third-place finish at the Lawrence Invitational on Saturday. The senior picked up a pair of individual wins and also swam a leg on Ripon’s victorious 200 medley relay team (1:45.91). Gausewitz was the team’s top scorer after touching the wall first in the 200 IM (2:04.26) and the 100 butterfly (56.28). His time in the 200 IM is tops in the MWC this season.

Sarah Stayer - Grinnell College - Senior -
Houston, Texas/Memorial
Stayer won the 3-meter diving event (6 dives) at Saturday’s dual meet with Coe and Monmouth with a score of 258.25, which met the NCAA Provisional ‘B’ six-dive criteria. The senior diver was also victorious in the 1-meter diving event with a six-dive total of 233.45. Stayer’s effort helped the Pioneers women’s squad earn victories over the Kohawks (137-102) and Fighting Scots (197-32) at Saturday’s meet.

Steve Vander Naalt - Lawrence University - Senior -
Carol Stream, Ill./West Chicago
Vander Naalt won one event and placed second in another to lead Lawrence to a second-place finish at the Wisconsin Private College Championships in Kenosha, Wis., on Saturday. The senior touched the wall first in the 200-yard backstroke (2:06.19) and placed second in the 100 backstroke after clocking in at 57.54. Vander Naalt also placed fourth in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:07.47. Vander Naalt currently holds the top time in the MWC in the 200 backstroke (2.05.80).

Michael Ojdana - Lake Forest College - Sophomore -
Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Xavier
Ojdana won both of his individual events against the Illinois Institute of Technology on Saturday. The sophomore touched the wall first in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:00.55, before beating out the field in the 100-meter freestyle (56.96).

Jenna Sasanfar - Lake Forest College - Freshman -
Tonka Bay, Minn./Minnetonka
Sasanfar helped lead the Foresters to a dual meet victory over the Illinois Institute of Technology on Saturday. Sasanfar led off the winning 200-meter relay team to start the swimming portion of the meet and later added victories in both the 200-meter freestyle (2:24.56) and 100-meter backstroke (1:13.70).
