Chelsey Widdop - Outside Hitter - Monmouth College
Junior - Reynolds, Ill.
Widdop was named to the All-Tournament Team after throwing down 34 kills in the three tournament matches. The 5-9 hitter opened the season with a nine kill, 14 dig performance in a 3-0 loss to the University of Dubuque last Thursday. She then opened the MC Invite with a 12-kill performance in the Scots’ 3-0 win over MacMurray. Widdop hit another nine winners with 20 digs in a four set loss to Coe before coming back with 13 kills against Rockford in the third place match. For the week, Widdop claimed 43 kills (3.31 per set) with a .243 kill percentage and averaged over four digs per set.

Clare Bohrer - Middle Hitter - Lawrence University
Senior - Eau Claire, Wis.
Bohrer was named to the all-tournament team at the UW-Oshkosh Pizza Hut Classic and helped Lawrence to a 3-2 record on the week. Bohrer piled up 52 kills on the week and had a .159 hitting percentage. She also had 24 blocks, eight aces and 18 digs. Lawrence defeated Marian, Lakeland and Lake Forest during the week.

Diane McLeod - Setter - Lawrence University
Sophomore- Hartland, Wis.
McLeod helped Lawrence to a 2-2 record on the week and was named to the all-tournament team at the Lawrence Quadrangular on Saturday. For the week, McLeod piled up 144 assists, an average of 11.1 per set, to go along with 43 digs, seven aces, six kills and seven blocks. In a 3-0 win over Mount Mary, McLeod had 34 assists and 14 digs to go along with three aces and a pair of blocks. At the Lawrence Quad, she finished the three matches with 110 assists, 29 digs, five blocks and four aces. Her top totals of the day were 42 assists and 14 digs against Edgewood.

Danielle Remy - Middle Hitter - St. Norbert College
Junior- Elmhurst, Ill.
Remy led St. Norbert to a strong 4-0 weekend which included the championship of the Wheaton Tournament. Remy, who had 16 kills and 11 blocks in a five-set win over Wheaton, hit a robust .430 on the weekend, getting 45 kills on 86 attempts against eight errors. She also had 27 blocks and was named to the All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the tournament.

Chelsey Widdop - Outside Hitter - Monmouth College

Widdop averaged 13 kills per match in two conference matches last week as the Fighting Scots stayed atop the league standings with an unbeaten mark through four matches. In a 3-0 win over Ripon on Friday, the outside hitter nailed 12 of her 22 attempts for kills. She was nearly as hot on Saturday in a 3-0 win over Carroll. Widdop threw down another 14 kills on 33 attempts and recorded 17 digs. For the week, Widdop averaged 4.33 kills-per-set on 26 kills with a .382 hitting percentage. She also made 23 saves, averaging 11.5 digs-per-match and 3.83 digs-per-set.

Danielle Remy - Middle Hitter - St. Norbert College
Junior- Elmhurst, Ill.
Remy led St. Norbert to a 3-1 week, which included its first win over UW-Oshkosh since 1993 and key MWC road wins at Illinois College and Monmouth. Remy hit .277 for the week, getting 39 kills with 13 errors in 94 attempts. She also had 16 blocks and two digs.

Michelle Briggs - Middle Hitter - Grinnell College
Junior- Salinas, Calif.
Briggs had an amazing weekend as she helped Grinnell win all three matches it played, including a pair of key Midwest Conference contests. She averaged 4.18 kills per set, had a .287 hitting efficiency and tallied 17 blocks and 11 digs as Grinnell defeated Monmouth College and Illinois College in league play and also topped Buena Vista University of the Iowa Conference. Included in her efforts was a 21-kill performance against Buena Vista, and a .400 hitting efficiency against Monmouth (14 kills in 30 attempts with just two errors).

Cori Cooper - Outside Hitter - Lake Forest College
Junior- Crystal Lake, Ill.
Cooper helped lead Lake Forest to a 3-1 record with three conference victories in as many days last week. She had nine kills in a three-set win at Beloit on Thursday, 15 in another three-set triumph over Knox on Friday, 18 in a four-set victory over Grinnell on Saturday, and 20 in a four-set loss to Trinity International later on Saturday. She finished the four matches with 62 kills (4.43 per set), eight aces, and 30 digs.

Cori Cooper - Outside Hitter - Lake Forest College
Junior- Crystal Lake, Ill.
Cooper helped lead Lake Forest to a 2-2 record on the week and a berth in the four-team MWC Tournament. She had two aces, 13 digs, and a match-high 20 kills in a four-set loss at Carroll on Wednesday and 19 kills, 13 digs, and an ace in a five-set loss to St. Norbert on Friday. Cooper registered her third double-double of the week with 11 digs and a match-high 18 kills as the Foresters defeated Lawrence in three sets on Saturday to clinch a spot in the tourney. Finally, she played in just one set of the team’s victory over Alverno College on Saturday and pounded out five kills to reach 1,000 for her career. She finished the week with 62 kills, three aces, 38 digs, and a .215 hitting percentage.
