WOZNIAK TO JOIN OKLAHOMA STATE FOOTBALL COACHING STAFF
John Wozniak, assistant football coach
and head men's golf coach at Knox , has accepted a position as a football
graduate assistant coach at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater,
Oklahoma. In his new position, which begins in mid-May, Wozniak will
serve as an offensive and special teams assistant coach.
Wozniak is a 1999 Knox graduate and former All-Midwest Conference
wide receiver and quarterback for the Prairie Fire.
Wozniak, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
earned a bachelor's degree in physics and secondary education. He
was hired by Knox in the spring of 2000 to serve as the football offensive
coordinator and as the men's golf coach.
On the links, Wozniak's golf teams have
continued to experience success by winning two of the past three Midwest
Conference Championships. The 2004 team is considered one of the top
contenders to win another championship this year. Prior to Wozniak's
arrival, Knox's golf team had won 16 out of the past 19 conference
championships.
